“It just goes to show that in life, you can’t look at it like you’ve got to push things professionally, or whatever. God’s got a plan for you beyond your own ability to even dream and imagine what can happen.”
-John Harbaugh, head coach of the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens reflecting on being turned down by several universities for head coaching positions before getting a call from the Ravens.
I like John Harbaugh, and I’m happy for him — but, to suggest that God cares where he coaches football seems absurd and arrogant to me.
What is there to suggest that God does not care?
Haiti.
So, God wanted the Ravens to win this year, or he just preferred that the 49ers lost?
Haiti is an incredible example of God’s love. How is it not? And who said God wanted the Ravens to win?
For the record, I definitely preferred that the 49ers lost. Just sayin’.
